Hazards

Earthquakes

Tornado

As part of The American Legion’s Four Pillars, support for our communities through effective National Security programs, Post 215 hosted an event on ​Tuesday, September 15, at 6:30pm, that was open to the community.

“Make a Plan! Community Preparedness at Home and Work” was presented by business continuity and disaster recovery expert
​Lauren Kennedy (click here to view Lauren’s presentation).  Joining Lauren was Sam Hall from the Department of Transportation Office of Pipeline Safety (click here to view his presentation), Eddie Ferguson from Goochland County Fire & Rescue, Lt Henley from the Goochland County Sheriff’s Office, and Robin Hillman of the Goochland Community Emergency Response Team (CERT).  Special thank you to the Guest Speakers and for the tremendous handouts and resources.
